Welcome to Baton Rouge's newest cheer and tumble facility! Our mission is to use cheerleading as a vehicle to build our youth into responsible and confident adults while offering the best in customer service around. We offer classes for all your cheerleading and tumbling needs as well as developmental to elite level teams for ages 3 and up. We look forward to servicing the Baton Rouge area with quality instruction as an investment in todays youth and tomorrows leaders.

CHEER AND TUMBLE COMBO CLASSES


Preschool Power

Developmental class that focuses on coordination, strength, and development of preschool athletes in a fun and motivating environment. This class will teach cheerleading and tumble skills with a focus in motor development. This team will meet once per week for 45 minutes.

Ages 3 and 4 (preschool age)



Beginner Cheer / Tumble

Cheer and tumbling class combined. Learn cheers, cheer motions, jumps, dances, the basics of cheerleading, and basic, developmental tumble skills on your level. Tumble skills include rolls, cartwheels, round-offs, backbends, and front and back walkovers. Lots of fun and perfect for the beginner cheerleader wanting to have fun while cheering!

Ages 5-9



Cheer Prep 101

Recreational cheer and tumble class focusing on improving jump and motion technique through drills, flexibility training, and plyometrics while learning cheers and band beats for recreational purposes and the love of cheer. Athletes will participate in a strength conditioning program to improve their overall athletic impression. Athletes will learn beginner tumble level skills.

Ages 9-16



CHEER CLASSES


Flyers

(ALL LEVELS) In this class, athletes will use both strength, and flexibility to learn how to become a more efficient, and reliable flyer. Athletes will get one-on-one feedback on their body positions, and instruction on what they can do at home to help accomplish their goals in the gym.

_Ages 8 and up



Tryout basics

Class focused on developing individual skills necessary to develop skills for a better tryout score. Mimic the tryout process weekly with a mock tryout providing weekly feedback so your tryout is your best tryout and not your first tryout. "The only time a cheerleader ever has to perform individually is at tryouts"



Stunt basics

Learn the basics of stunting and all positions including flyer, base, and backspot. Athletes will learn body positions and how to safely perform stunt basics using proper technique. Ages 8 and up



Poms & Signs

Learn how to compete gameday! Cheer class designated to work on cheer related skills including sign and pom work. Work on motion technique along with learning a cheer and basic stunts in the game day environment. Extra expense for poms will be assessed. ($25-$35/set). Feeds into Non Tumbling Gameday Recrational team/school teams.



TUMBLE CLASSES


Beginner tumbling

level 1. Athletes will learn basic body shapes, bridges, lunges, handstands, forward/backward rolls, cartwheels, and roundoffs while having fun in this action packed class! Different class times offered for younger beginners and older beginners.



Walkovers

level 1/2. Athletes will reinforce what they learned in beginner tumble, but will move on to a deeper understanding of muscle engagement, lever drills, front, and back walkovers, wall taps, and angles coming out of roundoffs. Prerequisite Beginner tumble skills.



Beginner Handsprings

level 2. Athletes will reinforce what they have learned in walkover class, demonstrate a perfect wall tap, work front and back handspring technique, and strength and conditioning to be able to perform skills safely.



Handspring Series

level 2. Athletes will reinforce what they learned in Beginner Handspring class. Athletes should be able to demonstrate a technically correct front/back Handspring. Athletes will learn more about angle manipulation, connections, and how to generate power more efficiently while connecting skills.



Tucks

level 3. Athletes will reinforce what they learned in handspring class, should at this point be able to execute roundoff 3, and start to work on setting drills, c-shape drills, as well as punch front drills, front/back tucks



Layouts

level 4. Athletes will reinforce what they learned in tuck class, start to work on standing tucks, punch front step outs, hip drive, candlestick drills, and layouts.



Twists

(level 5. Athletes will reinforce what they learned in layout class, work on twisting drills, core/oblique strengthening, whips, arabians, and going through progressions for fulls/doubles)

Need to withdraw?

Please print and fill out the withdrawal form and return to the office. Keep in mind that payment will continue to be due until two (2) weeks after submission date. (If tuition is due on the 1st of every month and you submit the form after the 15th, your next month's tuition will still be due regardless of attendance/participation)
